How to create an Amazon storefront as an influencer

To create an Amazon storefront, get approved for the Amazon Influencer Program, or make three qualifying sales in 180 days as an Amazon Associate. Amazon then creates the storefront at an amazon.com/shop/ address. You add a photo, a bio and your social links, and fill it with idea lists, photos and shoppable videos from Associates Central or the Amazon Shopping app. Selling your own products? That is an Amazon Brand Store, a different feature.

Key takeaways

  • Associates can have one too. Since April 2026, Amazon gives storefronts to Associates with three qualifying sales in 180 days.
  • Your address is hard to change. Amazon generates it from your social handle and changes it only in two cases.
  • Fill it with video, not only lists. 86% of US storefronts publish an idea list, but 39% have no shoppable video.
  • Share it from the storefront. Use its Share button rather than #founditonamazon links, and disclose that you earn from qualifying purchases.

What is an Amazon storefront?

An Amazon storefront is your own page on Amazon, at an amazon.com/shop/ address, where shoppers browse the products you recommend in idea lists, photos, shoppable videos and, in the US, livestreams. You earn a commission on qualifying purchases a shopper makes within 24 hours of arriving, even on products that are not in your storefront.

  • Associates can have one. Since April 2026, Amazon gives storefronts to Amazon Associates who have made three qualifying sales in 180 days, and says there is no difference from an influencer storefront. Our guide to becoming an Amazon influencer covers the Influencer Program route.
  • One link, more countries. Amazon is extending US storefronts to nine other countries under the same link. Profile changes copy across, and you can opt out of a country.
  • Not a Brand Store. A brand selling its own products builds an Amazon Brand Store instead.

How to create your Amazon storefront

To create your Amazon storefront, qualify through the Influencer Program or Amazon Associates, open the storefront from Associates Central or the Amazon Shopping app, and set up your profile. Then add idea lists, photos and shoppable videos, pin your best content and share the link.

  1. Qualify. Get approved for the Amazon Influencer Program, or make three qualifying sales in 180 days as an Amazon Associate.
  2. Open your storefront. On desktop, choose Storefront and then View my Storefront in Associates Central’s menu. In the Amazon Shopping app, tap the account icon, then Your Storefront under Amazon Influencers. Creator Central also runs on mobile, for the primary account holder.
  3. Set up your profile. Add a profile photo under 10 MB, a display name and a bio that says who you are and what you do. Amazon’s rules: no social network’s name and no Amazon trademarks in the storefront name.
  4. Link your social accounts. Under Edit profile, link Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest or YouTube. You need to be signed in to each account.
  5. Create your first idea lists. Choose Create Content, then Idea List, and group products under a theme, with captions of up to 140 characters. The list you edit last moves to the top.
  6. Post photos and shoppable videos. Choose Create Content, then Post, and tag every product the photo or video shows. Amazon can find and tag products in your photos for you.
  7. Pin your best content and share the link. Pin your strongest posts, group related ones into curations, and share the storefront with its Share button.

Can you change your Amazon storefront URL?

Amazon generates your storefront address from the social handle you qualified with, and its FAQ says the address cannot be changed unless your YouTube channel name changes or you have a larger following on another platform. To ask, use Request new influencer handle under Edit Storefront, Getting Started, Help & Support; another Amazon page points to a contact form instead.

9.5% of the 169,178 US storefronts in Spreesy’s index sit on an auto-generated address that starts influencer- and cannot be guessed from a social handle. If yours does, share it from the storefront’s Share button, so nobody has to type it.

Amazon storefront limits and rules

Amazon caps how many products each post can tag, reviews every shoppable video and sets file rules for video. Its own help pages disagree on how many posts you can pin, so plan for the lower figure.

Products tagged per photoUp to 15
Products tagged per videoUp to 10

From Amazon's influencer help pages, checked October 2026.

  • No prices or promotions in videos: no prices, discount claims or time-sensitive information.
  • No outside links: apart from promoting your own social channels, everything links within Amazon.
  • No contact details in videos: Amazon bans phone numbers and email addresses in videos.
  • Archiving: you can archive content except shoppable videos, and links you already shared keep working.

Amazon’s Associates Program Policies also say Amazon decides the storefront’s content, appearance and address.

Spreesy’s index: 169,178 public US storefronts, checked October 2026. Counts only: the index holds no follower or earnings data.

Fewer storefronts make it easy to get in touch. 47% link at least one social account and 19% link two or more, while 53% link no social account and show no email address. By the products they feature, Beauty & Personal Care is the main category of 34% of storefronts with one, ahead of Kitchen & Dining at 10%.

Our Amazon influencer statistics break the index down further, by platform, badge and category.

What to do in your storefront’s first week

Amazon’s own data links two first-week habits with higher sales: a detailed storefront bio, and sharing at least one new link in the first week. Amazon says these are associations, not cause and effect, from April 2024 to April 2025.

  • Write a detailed bio: say who you are, what you film and who it is for.
  • Share a new link: from the storefront’s Share button, with your disclosure.
  • Start a video habit: Amazon advises building a large library of videos, posted regularly, and pays onsite commissions when it places your content.
  • Check a product before you film it: the free product check on Influencer Studio shows how many storefronts already recommend it in a video or an idea list.
  • Tell sellers how to reach you: sellers search Spreesy for influencers by the products they recommend, and claiming your storefront lets you set your contact route, gifting or paid work and minimum rate.
What our data cannot showSpreesy counts what public storefronts carry. It holds no follower, click or earnings data, so it cannot say which storefronts earn the most.

Questions about Amazon storefronts

Through Create Content. Make an idea list, or post a photo or video and tag the products it shows. You can find products from your orders, your lists, your browsing or a search.

Can you link to other websites from your Amazon storefront?

Only to your social accounts. Amazon says that apart from your social handles, everything on the storefront links within Amazon.
