Spreesy affiliate program

Program terms

Last updated 28 August 2026. Written in plain language on purpose; these terms sit alongside the site Terms of Service.

1. The program

Spreesy pays partners a commission for referring paying subscribers. The program is application based: we review and approve every partner by hand, and we may decline or remove any partner at our discretion.

2. Commission

• 25% of every subscription payment we actually receive from a customer you referred, for as long as that subscription stays active.
• Commissions are calculated on the pre-tax net amount of each payment: after discounts, excluding VAT and sales tax.
• Refunded payments earn nothing. A full refund reverses the full commission on that payment; a partial refund reverses it proportionally. Chargebacks reverse the commission and, at our discretion, related unpaid balances.
• Commission on a customer's first payment becomes payable only after the 30-day money-back window on that payment has passed.
• If a referred customer cancels, commissions stop when their paid access ends. If the same customer reactivates within 30 days, your commission resumes on future successful payments; no commission accrues for the canceled period. After 30 days, a returning customer is treated as a new attribution opportunity.

3. Attribution

• Referrals are tracked through your unique program link. The attribution window is 30 days from the last click, and the last click wins.
• A referral counts when the customer starts a paid subscription within the window. Free accounts and unpaid checkouts earn nothing until they convert inside the window.
• We use a payout platform plus our own attribution records as the audit trail. In a conflict our records decide, and we will show you the evidence.

4. Payouts

• Monthly, in arrears, through our payout platform, which pays via Stripe or PayPal. You complete the platform's onboarding, including any tax forms it requires (for example W-9 or W-8). Payouts are held until the forms are complete.
• Minimum payout is $25. Smaller balances roll over.
• You are responsible for your own taxes on commission income. The payout platform files payer-side forms where required.

5. What you may not do

Any of the following voids pending commissions and ends the partnership:

• Self-referral - subscribing through your own link, directly or through accounts you control.
• Brand bidding - bidding on "spreesy" or misspellings of it in paid search or paid social, or using it in ad display URLs or domains.
• Coupon-aggregator listings - posting program links or invented discount codes on coupon aggregation sites.
• Spam - unsolicited bulk email, comment or DM spam, or posting links where a venue's rules forbid them.
• Misleading claims - inventing numbers, guarantees or outcomes. Cite only the figures Spreesy publishes and your own honest experience with the product.
• Non-disclosure - failing to disclose the commercial relationship where the law or platform rules require it. A plain "I earn a commission if you subscribe through my link" is enough.
• Impersonating Spreesy, registering lookalike domains, or presenting your site as an official Spreesy property.

6. What we provide

• Your unique link and a partner dashboard showing clicks, referrals and earnings.
• A complimentary full-access Spreesy account for 30 days, for review and content purposes. We extend it for as long as you actively publish about Spreesy or refer customers.
• Marketing assets and product facts you can rely on. Use the Spreesy name and logo only to promote Spreesy under these terms.

7. Changes and ending the program

• Either side can end the partnership at any time. Approved, accrued commissions earned before the end date are still paid on the normal schedule; fraud voids them.
• We can change these terms, including commission rates, with 30 days notice. Changes apply prospectively from the end of the notice period and never reduce commissions already accrued.
• We may pause payouts to investigate suspected fraud, and will resolve investigations within 30 days.

8. The remaining legal parts

• You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent or franchisee. Nothing here creates an exclusive relationship in either direction.
• No liability for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is capped at commissions paid or payable to you in the twelve months before a claim.
• These terms sit alongside the site Terms of Service and the privacy policy, which also govern your Spreesy account.
